Lesley and Kevin, the delightful hosts, offered not just warm hospitality but also a wealth of knowledge about the area's rich history while whipping up a breakfast that showcased locally sourced produce-definitely one of the highlights. I found solace in the large private bathroom, indulging in the luxurious clawfoot tub after a long day of exploring the botanical gardens and nearby trails. The tranquil garden terrace outside was a perfect spot to unwind, perhaps with a good book or a cup of coffee. I left the Lark & Loon with not just fond memories but a desire to return, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a blend of comfort, charm, and historical intrigue.
